Postat 19-01-2024
These are the two unique and amazing parties in one Halloween tour in Transylvania! What better way to celebrate Halloween than the homeland of Vlad Dracula? Spend your Halloween in Transylvania, it is a unique experience and you’ll have a lot of fun. We’ll have a great private party at the famous Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s castle. The second event is a Special Halloween Dinner served in the old medieval town of Sighisoara – the birthplace of Vlad Dracula.
"Welcome to my house! Enter freely. Go safely, and leave something of the happiness you bring!"
The vacation of a tour guide, like me, is invariably spent in an armchair with a book in hand, on the sofa in front of the TV, or simply in bed sleeping. Why so? Because 9 months out of the year we are always on the road making sure that your vacations are successful. However, during those 3 months of break when we also go on vacation, although seen from the outside our job seems like a perpetual vacation, we choose places that interest us and that have a great meaning for us.
For example, if I ever get to America, one of the places I will go is Dallas, because in my childhood in communist Romania, this series was a ray of light. In France I would go to Saint Malo because it is the small town where the adventures from a famous book that my generation devoured, and in Italy I have already been to all the places I wanted to see.
In the logic of what was written above, a big fan of Halloween, of horror stories, or of Dracula, cannot celebrate Halloween better than in Transylvania, i.e. in Romania.
I know that for many of you, Romania is a name similar to the distance, the unknown, perhaps the uncivilized East, and its historical province Transylvania.... hum, Transylvania is, to quote Bram Stoker, "one of the wildest and least known portions of Europe." However, I, we, the Visit Transilvania Travel team, suggest you come here to spend your Halloween holiday.
Unlike the Londoner Jonathan Harker, who made his way here by ship, train, and carriage, you have at your disposal the airlines that will bring you from any corner of the planet to the airport in the capital of Romania, Bucharest, in an instant.
Once you arrive here, instead of the slow carriages, you will board modern coaches arriving comfortably and comfortably in Brașov. On the way you will be able to recognize that the Romanian author Dracula was not wrong at all when he wrote: "all day long we seemed to dawdle through a country which was full of beauty of every kind. Sometimes we saw little towns or castles on the top of steep hills such as we see in old missals; sometimes we ran by rivers and streams which seemed from the wide stony margin on each side of them to be subject to great floods. It takes a lot of water, and running strong, to sweep the outside edge of a river clear."
It is certain that when he traveled to Transylvania, Jonathan Harker ended up being charmed not only by the beauty of the landscapes but also by the dishes, the wine, and the people. There are so many reasons why we invite you to come here on Halloween, but they are not the only ones.
During this trip you will see categories of monuments unique in the world such as the Fortified Church of Prejmer, you will reach the city where Dracula was born and the inventor of the rocket and the first studies about it, Hermann Oberth, who studied and you will visit the largest medieval castle from Romania the one from Hunedoara.
Of course, the long-awaited moment will be that of the Halloween party that will take place right in Dracula's Castle in Bran. It will, of course, be a private party just for you, you will eat and be well entertained by the music and performances prepared for you. We will also have the traditional costume contest, which since 2007 has awarded some of the most beautiful Halloween costumes.
We are sure that with us you will spend 5 unforgettable days and tell your grandchildren what they say. That's why we urge you not to wait any longer and hurry to book your seats, especially since until March 31, 2024, we have a 10% discount for early booking.
In conclusion, I want to tell you that I am waiting for you in the Carpathians. I trust that your journey here will be an easy one and that you will enjoy your stay in our beautiful country or as Dracula would say:
"Welcome to my house! Enter freely. Go safely, and leave something of the happiness you bring!"
